• Burrillville Weekend Snack Pack Program – Next packing session scheduled for April 18th during school
vacation so kids can attend. Meeting scheduled to discuss fundraising ideas and program progress.
Jesse Smith Library and Levy School continue to collect donations.
• Earth Day Cleanup – Submitted Bargain Buyer Ad and sent public notice email. Printed flyers. Hung
posters around Town. Had second meeting with the committee to tie up loose ends. Supplies and
giveaways to be picked the week of 4/11. Picked up T-shirts.
• Earth Day Recycling and Energy Conservation Poster Contest – Distributed flyer to schools. Ordered
items for winner’s gift bags.

• Easter Event –Ten volunteers helped with the event. 125 people enjoyed breakfast with the Easter Bunny
and approximately 800 participated in the Easter Egg Hunt.
• Nutrition Classes/Weight Loss Classes- New location at the JSML has had a great turnout with 12
participants.
• Parks and Rec Calendars/Newsletters/Website – April calendars distributed.
• Special Needs Recreation Programs/Classes– Meeting scheduled with a representative from the Special
Olympics to discuss possible program options for residents with special needs.
• Sunshine Club– Next meeting scheduled for April 18th to make birthday gifts.
Recreation Center Expansion Feasibility Study:
-no new updates
Hauser Lights:
-New generator started OK
Brown House:
-Windows delivered this week, picking out siding.
Update on Champlin Hall Management Changes:
-Town Council approved one rental per day
Dog Park:-
Pursuing grants for park

-Local students working on comprehensive brochure of Parks & Recreation resources
