Discussion:

-Adult Tap- Instructor now offering private tap lessons from 630-730.
-Burrillville Aging Stronger Committee – Follow up meeting to plan next event is scheduled for December 11th. 9 vendors registered to date.
-Burrillville Weekend Snack Pack Program – ATL and WLC have donated their excess Thanksgiving Basket food. 51 students currently receiving the weekly bags. Received 500 donation from Wallum Lake Rod and Gun Club. We are currently serving 50 children, our highest numbers to date.
-Facebook/Newsletters/Website- Shared MADD RI candlelight vigil and free Zumba class. Posted winter newsletter and December calendar, Santa map and Holiday Card flyer. Newsletter to go out to schools first week in December. Shared Berean Baptist Winter Coat giveaway.
-Forever Fit – Average is 29 for November.
-Hero Park – DEM Grant Submitted
-Holiday Card Contest – Cards on sale at Town Hall, Lil General and Park and Rec and at the Santa Event on 12/7. Prizes distributed to students.
-Lodge Playground – DEM Grant Submitted
-Santa Calling – Thank you gifts for volunteers have been ordered. 4 Santas confirmed to date. Requests went out to 5 previous Santas. One additional volunteer has come forward. Flyers to go out to schools during the week of November 12th. Forms due back by November 22nd. Santa to call between December 4th and December 8th. 4 previous Santas have confirmed their participation.
-Santa at Stillwater – Event was a huge success with 25 raffle items donated and $317 was raised in raffle sales. Holiday Card Sales raised $125. Approximately 1000 people were in attendance.
-Senior Transportation Subcommittee- Reminder email sent out to drivers regarding the December 10 training. 6 drivers have confirmed their attendance.
-Sunshine Club– Next meeting is December 16th and will be the annual holiday party and cookie swap for volunteers. 31 birthday gifts will be made.
-Town Common Holiday Decorations - Harrisville Fire Department has put up the tree and lights in the gazebo.
-Zumba Gold – Average of 13 per class.

James Alix informed the Recreation Commission that he will be stepping down from his role as board member. James' contributions to the Recreation Commission have been extremely valuable over the
past several years and will certainly be missed. We appreciate all James has done and we wish him the best going forward.
